Enough

The word enough has been ministering to me lately. I heard it the other day while praying. I heard the Lord ask “Am I enough, son?” I wanted to immediately answer “yes,” but, knowing He knows me, I sat in humbled silence.

It wasn’t that He wasn’t enough that made me hesitant to answer, it was that I was caught with my heart misaligned and gravitating towards this world. When I forget He is enough, I forget that I am taken care of. When I forget that He is enough, I forget that He has made me to be enough, for I am found in Him.

Jesus is enough.. I keep saying that to myself with thanksgiving and gratitude now. Quietly, humbly, adoringly… He is enough.
